$10 million raised in one week by Trump campaign as Americans support the president
Every cloud has a silver lining, and in the case of President Trump’s campaign for 2020, that lining is pure gold.
Ever since the Democrats began their impeachment inquiry, the Trump campaign has been making an absolute killing in the money stakes.
Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale announced they had managed to raise a cool $10 million in just ONE week as the impeachment inquiry marches on.
With a long list of the president’s recent accomplishments, Pascale listed some of the main ones on Twitter on Sunday, Dec. 15.
“While Dems continue their political theater …President Trump @realDonaldTrump has been crushing it!”
By comparison, several Democratic primary candidates couldn’t manage to raise $10 million over the entire third quarter, including Julian Castro, Tom Steyer, Amy Klobuchar, and Cory Booker, according to the Daily Caller.
The Caller also reports: “Of the candidates still in the race, just four managed to raise over $10 million in the entire quarter. Mayor Pete Buttigieg raised $19.1 million in the third quarter of 2019, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders raised $25.3 million, former Vice President Joe Biden raised $15.7 million, and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren raised $24.6 million.”
If the Trump campaign money trend continues in the same vein for the quarter, it will raise a staggering $120 million.
This will amount to more dollars than the amount raised by all top four challengers combined.
Pascale had previously announced at the start of the formal impeachment inquiry; the campaign raised $3 million in online donations in one day, when House Democrats announced their “witch hunt,” as the president repeatedly calls it.
